On Thursday, September 11, 2008 the Clean Indoor Air Act will take effect, eliminating smoking in most indoor places, protecting the lives of Pennsylvania’s workforce, citizens and children.

To celebrate this historic event, 6 news conferences will be held at 11:30 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2008, in various locations throughout the Northeast Health District

All 6 selected locations are restaurants whose owners or general managers made the decision to be smoke-free before the Clean Indoor Air Act was passed, for the health of their customers and employees.
